This set of African wooden salad servers is handmade in the Malindi woodworking cooperative in Kenya. Hand-carved from beautiful and durable local woods, the large spoons and forks have been crafted, sanded, and treated to give them a refined, sophisticated look. The decoration at the ends of each piece is crafted using the traditional Maasai technique of colored beads.
Each piece is different from the next, as the photos show. The wood is always different, varying in color depending on the piece.
They measure from 34 cm to 36 cm in height
and about 8 cm wide at the top.
They are sold in pairs.
