TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE SUBJECT

 

These general conditions of sale have as their object the purchase of handcrafted products remotely by means of a telematic network on the website address www.likeuafrica.com.

 

The owner of the site is likeUafrica by Lucia Pavan with registered office in Milan, Via Gran San Bernardo, 6, registered in the Milan Company Register  with Fiscal Code and VAT no. 11383500961 Rea di Milano Nro 2598609, Telephone 0039 335/6876718,  Email likeuafrica@gmail.com.

Each purchase operation will be governed by the provisions of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, section II Chapter I, by the rules on electronic commerce (Legislative Decree 70/2003) and by Legislative Decree no. . Lgs. N. 196/03 "Code regarding the protection of personal data".

 

ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

The Customer, by electronically sending his purchase order, declares to have read the conditions of sale, the proposed payment methods and the entire purchase procedure.

 

PRICES AND METHOD OF PURCHASE

To proceed with the purchase it is necessary to carry out and confirm a simple registration, in which the User will be asked for the minimum data to proceed with future transactions.

At any time, the User can access his reserved area to modify such data and check the history of transactions with Lucia Pavan's likeUafrica for the purchase of products and the status of existing orders.

 

Product prices are clearly indicated on the site and include VAT.

Before confirming the purchase, the Customer will be summarized in the Cart the total cost of the order. He will have the possibility to modify this order in whole or in part or to cancel it completely.

 

The order confirmed and sent by the Customer has the value of a contractual proposal and implies full knowledge and acceptance of these General Conditions.

The receipt of the order is confirmed by Lucia Pavan's likeUafrica through an automatic reply sent to the e-mail address supplied by the Customer during the registration phase. This confirmation message will indicate an order number to be used in any subsequent communication with Lucia Pavan's likeUafrica.

 

The  message will re-propose the data entered by the Customer during registration and purchase; the Customer undertakes to verify its correctness and to promptly communicate, in the event of an error, any corrections, by writing an email to likeuafrica@gmail.com

 

SHIPMENTS

The shipment of the products is carried out by selected courier, for which a shipment tracking service is active.

The courier makes deliveries on working days from 9:00 to 18:00; Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and local or national holidays are therefore excluded from deliveries.

 

Deliveries will be made within 48/72 hours from the date of the order confirmation (if the order is placed by 4.00 pm on a working day and unless there are events of force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances). Any delivery delays may be caused by malfunctions in the service by the courier, by force majeure or in case of holidays.

 

The delivery times indicated by Lucia Pavan's likeUafrica must be considered as indicative and a delay with respect to them, or any delivery made with subsequent split shipments, does not legitimize the Customer to refuse the delivery itself and to request compensation or compensation.

likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan will not be responsible for any malfunctions in the delivery service by the courier.

 

The products will be delivered to the address communicated by the Customer during registration.

 

AT THE TIME OF THE DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCTS, THE CUSTOMER IS REQUIRED TO CHECK:

 

that the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated in the transport document;

that the packaging is intact, not damaged or wet, or in any case altered, even in the sealing materials (adhesive tape or strapping);

 

any damage to the packaging and / or the product or the mismatch in the number of packages or indications, must be immediately detected, putting a specific indication on the product delivery document to be returned to the courier and writing, within 3 days of receipt, an e-mail to likeuafrica@gmail.com specifying the anomalies found;

 

In case of non-receipt of the goods after 5 working days from the order (excluding Saturdays and Sundays), please contact customer service at likeuafrica@gmail.com, describing precisely the problem (Date of the online order, purchased products, area of residence).

 

PAYMENTS

The following payment methods are envisaged:

 

PAYPAL

For the payment, the Paypal circuit can be used by the customer according to the specific methods of the same.

 

CREDIT CARD

In cases of purchase of goods with a credit card payment method, the transaction can take place through the secure server. In no case and at no stage of the payment likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan will be able to know the information relating to the Customer's credit card, transmitted via a secure connection directly to the website of the bank that manages the transaction. No computer archive of likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan will keep such data and therefore in no case likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan can be held responsible for any fraudulent and improper use of credit cards by third parties upon payment.

 

BANK TRANSFER

At the end of the purchase process an order summary email will be sent containing the information to make the bank transfer. It is necessary to make the transfer and send a copy of the accountant WITHIN 1 WORKING DAY to the email address likeuafrica@gmail.com otherwise the order will be automatically canceled after this deadline. The goods will be shipped upon receipt of the credit of the payment on the current account indicated in the order summary email.  

 

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, the Customer, defined as a Consumer by the same Decree, if he receives products that do not comply with what is expressly indicated in the order, has 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods to exercise the right of withdrawal, i.e. the possibility of returning the / the product / s.

 

The withdrawal must be communicated in advance by e-mail to the address likeuafrica@gmail.com, specifying the order number and the reasons for the withdrawal.

 

Within 14 working days, the Customer must return the goods, intact and perfectly packaged, to likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan, Via Gran San Bernardo, 6 - 20154 Milan.

 

In case of damage to the goods during transport, likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan will notify the Customer, to allow him to promptly file a complaint against the courier he has chosen and obtain the relative reimbursement; the product will then be made available to the customer, at the same time canceling the request for withdrawal; likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan will not be liable in any way for damage, theft or loss occurring during the return shipment.

 

Once the reasons for withdrawal have been verified, likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan will refund the Customer the full amount already paid, net of the shipping costs incurred, within 14 (fourteen) days of withdrawal, by means of a reversal of the amount charged, using the same payment method used by the Customer for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed. In any case, the Customer will not incur any costs as a consequence of this reimbursement.  

 

If the purchase was made using a discount code, the amount of the discount will not be refunded. The refund will be related only to the amount actually spent.

 

likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan may suspend the refund until receipt of the returned product or until the moment in which the customer proves that he has correctly returned the product.

 

In any case, the Customer will lose the right of withdrawal in cases where likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan ascertains that:

 

  • the returned product and / or its packaging are not intact;

  • the product is missing its external packaging and / or its original internal packaging;

  • the product is missing its integral elements and / or accessories.  

 

In case of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal, likeUafrica di Lucia Pavan will return the purchased product to the sender, charging the shipping costs to the sender.

GOVERNING LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION

These conditions will be updated periodically.

It is the customer's responsibility to always refer to the latest version published on the website www.likeuafrica.com. It is understood that these conditions of sale are in any case subject to Italian law and all disputes will be the exclusive competence of the Court of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer, as long as they are located in the territory of the State.
