For Summer 2026, likeUafrica also offers a bucket bag that can be carried over the shoulder or by hand in various traditional African fabrics. This small series was made by artisans in Dakar from Koko Dunda fabric from Burkina Faso. This is a hand-dyed cotton fabric. Each fold of the fabric is different, and each fabric forms different patterns depending on how the dye has soaked in.
 The fabric is applied to a reinforced eco-leather frame. The bag has a handle for carrying it on your arm, as well as a shoulder strap. The closure is adjustable.
 The base, also covered in eco leather, measures approximately 20cmX10cm.
 The height of the bracket is approximately 24 cm. The width is approximately 10 cm, following the base.


 Koko Dunda is a traditional, artisanal fabric originating from Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. Its name means "the entrance to Koko," a neighborhood known for its dyeing. Originally considered a poor man's fabric ("tchiè ti barala"), it is now a symbol of national pride, recognized since 2021 with a seal of authenticity.
